10 of the greatest films set in Paris
'Breathless' (1960, dir. Jean-Luc Godard)
The first feature film directed by Jean-Luc Godard and one of the seminal films of the French New Wave, 'Breathless' is a love story between Michel Poiccard, a small-time hood wanted for killing a cop, and Patricia Franchini, an American who sells the International Herald Tribune along the boulevards of Paris.
One of France’s most classic films, 'Breathless' captures the youthful spirit of the French capital.
Breathless: 50th Anniversary is out in cinemas on June 25th and on DVD/Blu-ray September 13th
