Its coat of 30,000 sharp spikes helps to protect the porcupine from evildoers but it only wounds its love life. Fellow porcupines are not immune to the sting of the quills of their acquaintances who are literally dressed to kill. Also they enjoy climbing trees for food but the dim-witted animals often fall and impale themselves with their own spikes!
