First it was Jimmy Savile; now, Dave Lee Travis is also being accused of sexual harassment.
The former Radio 1 star is being accused of harassing two women in 1970-1980. The first alleged victim, newscaster Vivien Creegor claims that Travis juggled her breast while hosting her radio program in 1980.
The second woman alleged that Travis put his hand up her skirt while they were in his studio sometime in 1977.
Travis now 67 years old, categorically denied all allegations calling them “utter b*******.” He said in a statement: ‘I categorically deny that there is any substance in either allegation and I’m genuinely surprised that allegations of this nature have been made. I totally refute any impropriety.’
The BBC said: ‘We are not able to comment on individual names but where allegations are made they will be passed on to the BBC Investigations Unit or police.’
