Businesses that survived Dragons' Den
iTeddy
Imran Hakim is the inventor of the iTeddy - first seen on Dragons' Den and now set for world domination after securing a deal with leading British toy company Vivid Imaginations.
Imran managed to talk Theo Paphitis and Peter Jones into giving him £70,000 for 20% of the iTeddy profits. He may have secured more but he did not have his patent before the show.
Designed for 3-11-year-olds, the iTeddy allows you to download audio, photos, video, games and children's stories to the computer the bear's tummy. Sales are expected to hit £35 million over the next three years.
