Selling unwanted Christmas gifts on eBay - top tips

New research from eBay shows that £652 million will be spent by British shoppers on Christmas gifts that aren’t wanted this year, and of the 10 gifts the average person gets at Christmas, at least one will be left unloved under the tree.
The research also suggests that 366,000 people start selling their discarded presents on the auction site on Christmas Day itself. Three quarters of those doing so by lunchtime – with listings hitting a peak by 10am.
Be warned if you’ve bought power tools, or DIY equipment – they’re apparently the least wanted gifts; with clothes, shoes and accessories being the most wanted.
So how do you get the best price for you unwanted gifts? In this video below, eBay’s Ruth Szyszkowski gives 5 great tips that will help you make sure your bank balance will still be healthy way into the New Year.
