Now that Johnny Depp has taken a break from gallivanting around the ocean as a pirate, master director Michael Mann ('Collateral') has restored his cool credentials by casting him as notorious real-life robber and charismatic lady-killer John Dillinger.

Dillinger and his crew can take down a bank in one minute and forty seconds flat, leaving time to chat up the girls and cause some carnage with their Tommy guns, all the while keeping those snappy suits neatly pressed.

No wonder he became the Robin Hood of the Depression… 'Public Enemies' is blasting its way up the box office in cinemas now.
