The most famous screen acting couple since Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, Pitt and Jolie are responsible for a variety of both critically praised and commercially successful films on a yearly basis.
It was their 2005 teaming for 'Mr and Mrs Smith' and subsequent marriage that really sealed the deal, making them two of the most in demand and audience friendly thespians in Hollywood. They had both been in infamous celebrity relationships before - Jolie with Billy Bob Thornton and Pitt with Jennifer Aniston - making their stars even brighter in Hollywood's eyes.
