Chris Brown has publicly announced that his relationship with Karrueche Tan is over, and it doesn’t seem like a coincidence that his announcement came after he has supposedly been pictured with Rihanna, for what is understood to be a third night running.
Although no announcement regarding reconciliation has been made, Brown cited his close bond with his pop star ex-girlfriend as the reason for the breakup.
As said in a statement, Brown revealed: “I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna.”
He added: “I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”
Model Karrueche, 23, who has been with Brown since early last year, has tweeted her message as: “Bye baby”.
Meanwhile, as reported by the Mail Online, Brown and Rihanna supposedly attended the Jay-Z concert at the Brooklyn Barclays Center on Wednesday.
Prior to the event, the two were allegedly spotted leaving the same Hotel, Gansevoort Park Hotel, separately.
According to some reports, the ex-couple were seen out together at the start of last week at the celebrity hotspot, Griffin.
Last month the two were also reportedly spotted at the MTV Video Music Awards.
All these racy details of a possible rekindled romance played out after Rihanna admitted to Oprah in an interview that she still considers Chris as “the love of her life”, despite charging him with assault in 2009.
