Seriously cool robots
I-Fairy
The I-Fairy broke into the history books by becoming the world's first wedding conductor. The robot oversaw the union of Tomohiro Shibata and Satoko Inoue in the Japanese capital, Tokyo.
The couple decided to use the robot as they are both linked to the thriving robotics industry. Their profession also brought them together in the first place, making a robotic wedding the way to go.
The I-Fairy, complete with flashing eyes and plastic pigtails, waved its arms while instructing the groom to "please life the bride's veil" - instructed the groom to lift the bride's veil for the kiss.
It's another example of how robots are slowly but surely becoming part of our every day lives. Watch The I-Fairy here or read on to check out some of the most original androids from the past!
