Robert De Niro has revealed he envies his 'Meet the Fockers' co-star Dustin Hoffman.
The two-time Oscar-winning actor admits he wishes he had the same sense of humour and easy going personality as Hoffman, so other actors wouldn't think he was so unapproachable.
He said: "People treat me with a bit too much reverence. Look at Dustin Hoffman. I always envy the way he can speak and be smart and funny and so on. I just can't do that."
Meanwhile, De Niro has revealed how being diagnosed with prostate cancer was a wake-up call to make as many movies as he can.
The 61-year-old star discovered he had cancer in 2003 and immediately underwent surgery to treat the illness, eventually being given the all-clear later that year.
De Niro - who is also currently starring in horror thriller 'Hide and Seek' - claims the diagnosis made him determined to live life to the full, and make the most of his amazing talent in his remaining years.
He said: "You realise that life is moving on. If you're going to do something, go start. Life's simpler than we sometimes admit."
