C4 Jonathan Ross show shelved

Plans to move the Jonathan Ross chat show to Channel 4 have been 'shelved', according to The Guardian.
The deal was expected to have earned the presenter's production company £10 million.
However, it is thought with the new arrival of Channel 4's new chief executive, David Abraham, who reportedly has doubts over whether Ross would be an appropriate signing, is set to put the idea on hold.
Sources claim that the deal would have the contracted Ross to two years, presenting 20 episodes per year.
It has been revealed that some at Channel 4 hope that Abraham can be persuaded of the potential success if Ross were to take his hit programme to the channel.
But according to reports, the presenter's programme is not being considered by any other major UK broadcaster, leaving the network with additional time to consider its decision.
A spokesman for Channel 4 said: "We continue to talk to Jonathan about working together."
Ross is to stand down from the BBC in the summer after over 10 years with the corporation.
