Celebrity breast cancer survivors
Cynthia Nixon
Better known as Miranda in smash hit franchise 'Sex in the City', Cynthia Nixon revealed she had secretly undergone treatment in 2006 to remove a lump and had radiation therapy after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Afraid of the stigma associated with having cancer in Hollywood, she did not go public about it for two years.
The actress is now cancer-free and serves as an ambassador for a breast cancer research charity.
