What strikes you first is his overwhelmingly friendly personality - he's the kind of comedian who chuckles to himself, cracking himself up half way through his own joke. That's not to say that he's full of himself.

On the contrary, he's full of life and observes all of life's mundane trivialities and turns them into something universal. Unlike, for example 'Russell Brand: Scandalous', McIntyre doesn't indulge in himself and this only adds to his appeal.

It's hard to believe that such a bumbling, joyous man who looks like a chubby-cheeked Jimmy Page could fill the Wembley Arena but after 10 minutes it's obvious that this breed of observational comedy transcends one ego.  

If you want happy, inoffensive humour that rarely goes overboard on bad taste/non-PC comedy, check him out as fast as possible. This is a brilliant Christmas gift idea!
