Jubilee concertAll the stars set to appear on the bill
Sir Elton John is said to be recovering after a respiratory illness led him to cancel three concerts in Las Vegas, his partner, David Furnish, has said.
The 65-year-old singer was treated in hospital on 23 May but later released.
Furnish told reporters in London:
"He's doing incredibly well and recovering."
Sir Elton's spokesperson has also confirmed that he will be well enough to perform at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert as planned on 4 June.
A statement on his website said that he was "very excited" about taking to the stage on the day.
The star is expected to join stars such as Kylie Minogue, Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Tom Jones and Sir Cliff Richard at the Gary Barlow-organised event at Buckingham Palace.
He will then begin his European tour the week after.
Sir Elton's illness was described by his US spokesperson as a "serious respiratory infection", which forced him to pull out of three performances of his Million Dollar Piano residency at Caesar's Palace.
