Bullock no-show halts premiere

The UK premiere of The Blind Side has been cancelled after its Oscar-winning star Sandra Bullock pulled out of the event, organisers have confirmed.
Warner Brothers said the star, who won the best actress Academy Award for her role in the movie, withdrew from the red carpet event and will not travel to the UK due to "unforeseen circumstances".
The premiere had been due to take place Tuesday March 23 in Londo. But now a screening of the film for ticket-holders will take place instead at the Odeon West End in Leicester Square, where the premiere had been due to take place.
According to reports, the cancellation announcement coincided with unconfirmed rumours in the US media regarding the actress' marriage.
Bullock, who won her Oscar for playing Leigh Anne Tuohy, had been expected to attend with her co-star, newcomer Quinton Aaron.
The release date of March 27 has not been affected.
