Craig slams Kardashians as 'f***ing idiots'

Daniel Craig has slammed the Kardashians and other celebrities who sell their privacy for fame.

The James Bond actor, who recently married actress Rachel Weisz in a secret ceremony, said that the reason he doesn’t talk about his private life is because it’s "precious" and "worth more than money".

He told GQ magazine:

"It’s not about being afraid to be public with your emotions or about who you are and what you stand for; but if you sell it off, it’s gone. It’s precious. It’s worth more than money.

"If you sell it for money, which is what it amounts to - maybe that sounds a bit dramatic, but that’s essentially how i see it - then it’s gone. You can’t buy it back. You can’t buy your privacy back."

He continued, citing Kim and her family as examples:

"Look at the Kardashians, they’re worth millions. Millions! I don’t think they were that badly off to begin with but now look at them.

"You see that and you think, ‘What, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f***ing idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions?’ I’m not judging it. Well, I am, obviously."

He also briefly opened up about his relationship with his wife, saying:

"Look. I’m in love. I’m very happy. And that is how far I’m prepared to go."

Skyfall, Craig’s third outing as Bond, will be released November 9, 2012.
