The greatest movie monsters
The Wolfman
Inspired by the classic Universal Studios film that launched a legacy of horror, 'The Wolfman' brings the myth of a cursed man back to its iconic origins but without going overboard on CGI.
Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro swaps his bearded revolutionary look in 'Che' for an even hairier and violent portrayal as as Lawrence Talbot, a haunted nobleman who is cursed into becoming a werewolf, threatening both his estranged father (Anthony Hopkins) and love interest (Emily Blunt) as the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor racks up a bloody body count.
It's the classic story of a good man gone bad by powers he can't control, but what are some of the other cinematic beasts we struggled to contain?
