Kelly Brook set to appear on E4 drama 'Skins'

Kelly Brook has been cast in the critically acclaimed teen drama 'Skins'.

The 30-year-old model, who is currently promoting her role in the film horror 'Piranha 3D', will play a sexy fitness instructor called Jemima for a one episode story arc.

The E4 series has been home to numerous cameos recently, such as singer Will Young and comedian Bill Bailey.

An insider told The Sun: "Kelly is very funny in it. She is great as a really sexy fitness instructor who drives the boys wild."

The fifth series of the hit show begins in January and will see a completely new cast take over, representing the third switch of characters in its history.

Brook, who formerly had a high-profile relationship with Hollywood star Billy Zane, has previously appeared on the small screen in 'Marple' and 'Smallville' as well as West End plays 'Fat Pig' and 'Calendar Girls'.

Her presenting work included her debut on Channel 4's 'Big Breakfast' in 1999 and also on 'Celebrity Love Island'. She appeared on 'Strictly Come Dancing' and briefly as the fourth judge on 'Britain's Got Talent' before Simon Cowell admitted that the new format didn't work.

In an attempt to crack America, Brook has also recently posed for a Playboy shoot.
