Miranda, Friday Night Dinner lead comedy nominations

Miranda Hart and sitcom Friday Night Dinner have received the most nominations for this year's British Comedy Awards.
The 38-year-old comedienne and the Channel 4 comedy both picked up four nominations for the award show’s 22nd annual event.
Hart has been once again shortlisted for the Best TV Comedy Actress and the public-voted King or Queen of Comedy awards, which she won last year.

She has also been nominated for the Best Female Television Comic gong, while her show Miranda received a nod in the Best Sitcom category.
Friday Night Dinner will compete against Miranda in the Best Sitcom category, as well as being named in the Best New Comedy Programme list.
Stars Tamsin Greig and Tom Rosenthal picked up nominations for Best TV Comedy Actress, and Best Breakthrough Artist respectively.
The awards will be hosted by Jonathan Ross and will be broadcast live on Friday 16 December at 9pm on Channel 4.
