Pink Floyd - 'Pulse'
Pink Floyd are generally regarded as the pioneers of stage show lighting and pyrotechnics - their concerts are works of art in their own right. Thankfully they're also backed up with astonishing musical compositions.
While this release captures the band minus its leader Roger Waters after the infamous falling out, it remains the highest quality and most assured performance of the classic progressive rock band aside from their brief yet poignant Live 8 reunion.
David Gilmour's vocals and guitar mastery are clearly on display right from the epic opening of 'Shine on You Crazy Diamond' right through to the whole 'Dark Side of the Moon Album' being captured live, in sequence.
