Cowell to wed in September

Simon Cowell is planning to get married to his fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy in the autumn, it has been revealed.

The X Factor boss, who recently confirmed his engagement to the make-up artist, is thought to be planning to walk up the aisle in September.

The plans were revealed by 'American Idol' stylist Miles Siggins, who is said to be a good friend of bride-to-be Mezhgan.

Siggins has also hinted that American Idol host Ryan Seacrest will also will be involved in the ceremony in some way.

"He seems really happy with her, Siggins told Fancast.

"I knew they were dating, but I was surprised that they got engaged (so quickly). But she's great. I guess he just made his mind up. And they are really happy together," he said.

Cowell's spokesperson refused to comment on the autumn wedding date, simply saying: "Simon's private life is his private life."
