New Gaga album set for this year

Lady Gaga has confirmed that she will release a new album this year.

The musical superstar revealed that she is looking forward to going back on tour as well as releasing her third album.

Gaga told The Inside:

"I just want to keep going. I'm not as goal obsessed as I am process obsessed. I just want to keep writing music. I'm looking forward to putting out another album and going on tour.

"I can't wait to see the fans and I have a million ideas and I just feel honestly very blessed to be an artist who gets to make a living doing from what I love."

The starlet also revealed that she won’t be making the transition to the silver screen any time soon:

"I enjoy film and I like to act in my videos but I’m not an actress. I did go to acting school for many years but it’s such a tremendous art in itself. I don’t identify with that sort of web-like approach to being a public figure.

"I’m a musician. I'm a musician right now."

GaGa's second album Born This Way sold more than one million copies in its first week of release in May last year, and has gone on to sell over eight million copies so far.
