Pop star pregnant

Pop star Jessica Taylor and England cricketer Kevin Pietersen are expecting their first child.

The baby is due early next summer which may clash with England's home Test series against Bangladesh.

Pietersen and former Liberty X singer Taylor married in a winter wonderland-themed wedding at St Andrew's, Castle Combe in December 2007.

She unofficially retired from music in order to travel with her husband.

The three months pregnant singer will accompany her husband to South Africa where he will play in the latest one-day international in Port Elizabeth.

A friend of the couple said: "They are both very excited about the news and have told their families and friends they don't want to know the baby's sex in advance.

"All is well and they are looking forward to next summer."
