PRS For Music's Top 10 most controversial pop songs
10 - Dear God by XTC
The song Dear God by XTC caused much controversy when it was released in 1986.
It starts with music producer Todd Rundgren's then 8-year-old daughter singing about human suffering and points towards an anti-God undertone message.
Many retailers refused to sell the single after they feared a religious backlash.
