The top 10 most played songs
10. Bing Crosby 'White Christmas' (1942)
The first ever list of Britain's most played songs over the last 75 years has been revealed by PPL, the industry body that licenses recorded music on behalf of more than 3,400 record companies.
The list takes into consideration radio airplay, sports stadium airplay and public juke boxes as well as music heard in a lift or at a supermarket.
Kicking off the countdown is Bing Crosby's classic Christmas hit 'White Christmas' - the only festive track to make it into the top 10.
