Reid wins Celeb Big Brother

Cage fighter Alex Reid has been voted the winner of this year's and the last ever Celebrity Big Brother.

Singer Dane Bowers came second in the competition and ex-footballer-turned-actor Vinnie Jones came third.

On winning the show, Reid said: "What an amazing, fantastic start to a new year.

"I'm speechless. My whole agenda in here was just to be myself. I know I'm a good guy."

The boyfriend of Katie Price out performed actress Stephanie Beacham, who came in at fifth and Jonas Altberg - otherwise known as Basshunter – who came fourth.

This year's series will be the last shown on Channel 4, although the regular Big Brother, featuring members of the public, will air in the summer.
