Soap spoiler! Corrie teen accused of attempted murder

According to reports, Coronation Street's resident bad boy David Platt will find himself accused of attempted murder.

Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) knocks down love rival Graeme Proctor (Craig Gazey) after stealing his grandmother's car and suffering an epileptic fit behind the wheel.

Platt and Proctor ended their friendship earlier this year when the trainee hairdresser discovered that his friend was dating his ex Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan).

After a confrontation between the three, Platt storms off humiliated before tragedy strikes,

A source told The Sun: "As far as police are concerned it looks like an open and shut case. They fell out and David ran him down. No-one believes David when he says he can't remember it.

"He's just told too many lies before."

As Platt faces a life sentence, he continues to have black outs before  eventually diagnosed as epileptic.
