The couple, who met while Mead was a contestant on musical talent show 'Any Dream, Will Do' in which Van Outen was a judge, married at a private wedding in the Seychelles.

They exchanged vows in a short beach-side ceremony at the luxury Labriz Silhouette Resort, with just their parents and a handful of friends as guests.

Denise wore a £3,000 white strapless dress while Lee, who won the BBC1 talent show in 2007 to become "the nation's Joseph", wore a grey suit and pink shirt.

According to reports, he proposed to the TV star while the two were on a romantic holiday in the Caribbean. Her spokesman confirmed: "Denise had no idea but was absolutely thrilled."
