Corrie car crash disaster

Soap spoiler alert! Molly Dobbs' love triangle is set to come to a screeching twist when an accident leaves her fighting for her life.

Pregnant shopworker Molly, played by Vicky Binns, will be in the car with estranged husband Tyrone (Alan Halsall) when the incident takes place, the News of the World reports.

The dramatic scenes unfold as Tyrone swerves to avoid a cyclist, sending the car plummeting down a hill.

He manages to escape the car wreck and goes in search for help, unaware that Molly's former lover Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) has been following behind them.

Both Kevin and Tyrone are left wondering if Molly will pull through, as well as the fate of the unborn baby which each believes is theirs.

The dramatic scenes are set to air on ITV in late spring.
