Corrie's Tracy to poison daughter?

Tracy Barlow is to face poisoning claims in an upcoming storyline involving daughter, Amy.

Becky McDonald will suspect the jail bird of poisoning her daughter after she falls ill.

The Sun is reporting that "mysterious ccircumstances" will surround Amy's illness, in scenes set to air this May.

The child's ill-health will lead Steve McDonald to spend more time with the pair, with Tracy starting to enjoy the new-found attention from the Rovers landlord.

However, Becky becomes convinced that there is a more sinister explanation for the youngster's illness, believing that Tracy is poisoning her as part of a twisted plan to win Steve back.

A source told the newspaper:

"Becky loves Amy and can't bear to see her suffering. She also can't bear seeing Steve and Tracy together.

"She is jealous and she quickly realises that Tracy is feeding off the attention Steve is giving them both.

Becky can handle herself but Tracy is a dangerous enemy to make. If Steve believes Tracy over Becky, it could signal the end of their marriage."
