The explosive storyline will pave the way for actress Beverley Callard's exit from the soap after 22 years.

Liz, played by actress Beverley Callard, left Weatherfield for Spain in December to join Steve's twin brother Andy.

She will return to The Cobbles on 14 March and will play a major role in the building society raid, according to reports.
