The Corrie cabby was suspended from ITV1 soap following allegations of drug taking.

In June 2006 pictures were published in the Daily Mirror showing him smoking crack cocaine. He was cautioned by police for possession of class A drugs. Craig then entered rehab in a bid to save his job and quietly returned to the soap in January 2007.
