The 'Holby City' hunk proved that he was the king of the dance floor beating off hot competition from Rachel and Lisa Snowden and becoming this year's winner.

After the voting fiasco in the semi-final when he faced the axe many viewers have complained saying they couldn't get their votes through for other contestants. However the actor said of his victory: "I'm not a dancer, I just love to dance. What I wanted to do was go out and make it entertainment because it's a dance and entertainment show. You can end up taking it too seriously, it's important to try to remember its entertainment."
