Ricky Martin on BBC One's, the Apprentice has proved that no one should be under-estimated, as Lord Sugar announced him as the next business partner in the Apprentice's finals.
Earlier in the season, Ricky was always the quieter one and didn't do much to stand out. As the finale drew closer, he showed true potential of executing business plans. Ricky excelled the most when he was sent out on his own to strike deals as compared to the rest.
His competing finalist, Tom was considered to be more likable and less 'sillier' than Ricky, as Ricky provided unconvincing answers in the last task in front of Lord Sugar. In this task, Ricky admitted that he calls himself as Ricky and not Richard so that people can remember his name. Furthermore, in his application form, he wrote that he saw himself as Thor due to Lord Sugar being "the Godfather".
After the announcement, Lord Sugar congratulated Ricky Martin on his skills.
