4. 'X2: X-Men United' (2003)
'X2' is one of those very rare occasions when the sequel is even better than the original. With the first instalment of the 'X-Men' franchise, a necessary springboard, Bryan Singer's 'X2' had freedom to explore deeper into the back stories, powers and emotions of the X-men mutants – while also bringing some new characters to the table.
