BGT vs. The VoiceTwo talent showsgo head-to-head
Britain's Got Talent has been pushed back in the Saturday night schedule to avoid clashing with BBC One's rival show, The Voice.
From 21 April, viewers will be able to watch both reality shows in full for the first time, as ITV's Britain's Got Talent moves to the 8.30pm slot.
Previously, there was a 20 minute overlap, with The Voice starting on BBC One at 7pm and ending at 8.20pm and the ITV show beginning at 8pm.
This news comes just days after Simon Cowell posted his "irritate congratulations" to The Voice via Twitter, after it beat BGT in the ratings once again.
Comparisons between the two reality shows have been made ever since they were pitted against each other in the Saturday night schedule, however BGT hosts Ant and Dec have insisted that both shows offer something different.
The Voice UK, presented by Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates, follows contestants as they take part in 'blind auditions', hoping that their performance is good enough to make one of the four coaches turn around in their chair and pick them for their team.
More established in the UK, BGT holds open auditions all over the country to try to find one act to perform for the Queen at her Royal Variety show.
Catch Britain's Got Talent at 8pm on ITV1 on 14 April and at 8.30pm from 21 April and The Voice, Saturday nights at 7pm on BBC One.
