The Coronation Street actor, who plays hunk Luke Strong, has been a huge fan of Strictly since the show began and couldn't wait to get started with the contest.

Unfortunately his dreams were crushed in front of his hometown crowd at Blackpool Tower ballroom, with the judges dishing out harsh verdicts on his cha cha cha.
