V Festival line-up announced

A bumper pack of stars are set to appear at the 2010 V Festival.
Kasabian and Kings of Leon will headline in August and newly single Cheryl Cole will also be making her first festival outing without the rest of Girls Aloud.
Stereophonics, The Prodigy, Paul Weller, The Kooks, Faithless, Paolo Nutini and Florence And The Machine will also be performing on the stages in Chemsford and Staffordshire.
Other acts joining them include; Pet Shop Boys, Cheryl Cole, Madness, Editors, White Lies, Mika, Groove Armada, The Courteeners, The Charlatans, Temper Trap, Amy McDonald, Goldfrapp, Shed Seven, Newton Faulkner, La Roux, Skunk Anansie, Passion Pit, Ellie Goulding, Kate Nash, Paloma Faith, Plan B, Sugababes and Pixie Lott.
"We can't wait," said Kasabian in a statement.
"We feel it's the right time for us to headline a festival. We've been playing so many festivals for so long, years and years. I think the moment is right.
"It's just a wonderful thing to be doing. Our fans are going to love the show. They’ll really enjoy it."
V Festival takes place across the weekend of August 21 and 22.
