'My Girl' (1991)

The actress was just 10-years-old when she shot to stardom, but somehow she got lost during her teenage years in the Hollywood crowd and struggled to get any new roles.

During that time Chlumsky instead finished a degree at the University of Chicago, worked in publishing and was even a fact-checker for the Zagat’s restaurant guide.

The actress has however returned to the Hollywood circuit and is due to appear in the comedy 'In the Loop', set for DVD release on August 24.
