The fear factorCheck out the top 10 terrifying games.
To scare yourself silly it's unlikely that gamers would turn to the Nintendo Wii for satisfaction.
With the exception of a handful of titles, such as 'Resident Evil', there isnt really much on offer for horror game fans.
But judging by Deep Silver's forthcoming title for the 'family friendly' console, it is exactly where to go for a frightening experience.
'Cursed Mountain' is a survival horror game set in the 80s where gamers take on the role of a fearless mountaineer who climbs into the Himalayas searching for his lost brother.
On his journey he stumbles upon an ancient curse and encounters many lost souls who died in the area and are stuck in limbo - enter hordes of dead but not yet resting villagers, pilgrims, mountaineers and Buddhist monks.
Annihilating the living dead isnt the only thing that has gamers excited about this mystery-thriller title. It's the unusual trailer hype that has many shaking in their socks.
Take a look at the reactions of those who have been lucky enough to sample 'Cursed Mountain' pre release.

Complete with eerie music and crisp graphics, 'Cursed Mountain' certainly seems to be one of the most advanced looking games on the Wii.
The visual detail of the Himalayas, the weather and lighting provide a detail that many games on the console are lacking.
The living dead are also terrifying especially the Monks (pictured above) from which the game bases its themes upon Buddhist and Tibetan myths.
'Cursed Mountain' is set to be released across the UK on September 4.
