In equally short supply are western shoot ‘em ups, but all that looks set to change with this hard hitting sequel to the brilliant, but flawed, ‘Red Dead Revolver’. Set at the turn of the 20th century, one outlaw has to bring justice to a town in the grip of murderers, vigilantes and the rise of the industrial age.

Expect gunfights, stunning vistas, horses, jangly music and excellent attention to detail, but will the story be in place? Considering that the western genre is in such short supply, it’s going to depend on it.
