Some children and teenagers who play video games may be as hooked on gaming as gamblers are to cards and slot machines, according to research.

But what youths see as an enjoyable hobby can negatively affect school work and social interactions, especially if you have noticed them swapping the playground for the PlayStation.

Take the test and find out if your offspring is addicted to a virtual world and if it's time to pull the plug on their habit.
