6. Madden NFL - 70 million

The Madden NFL franchise is the classic American football game and has all the licences to images and team names in the NFL making it essential for all pigskin fans.

It has been released annually since 1989 starting on the SNES and this season will be released on the PS3 and the Xbox 360. The series remains as strong as ever, Madden NFL 06 was one of the biggest selling Playstation 2 games of 2006 in the US despite only being released in August of that year.
