Citroen has unveiled what looks to be the leader of the pack, when it comes to 3-door hatchbacks anyway. Note the modern styling twist on the side between the windows that instantly turns the Citroen into something of a looker.

But it isn't just about ease on the eye; the DS3 is hoping to stand out as an eco-friendly city car. The diesel is reportedly capable of emitting just 99g/km of CO2. It's set to arrive in the UK in spring 2010, priced from £12,500.
