Tips for Outlook Express users
Please be aware that if you use Outlook Express to retrieve your email to your home PC, you will normally lose access to these emails from your webmail account.
This is because Supanet webmail only accesses emails that are currently on the server. Downloaded emails are removed from the server by default once they are downloaded.
You can keep copies of all your emails on the server by changing options on your Outlook Express program, allowing you access to messages at home and on the move.
Open Outlook Express and click on 'Tools'. Then select 'Accounts' from the listing. Select the 'Mail' tab. Now click on 'Properties' on the right hand side. A new window will pop up.
Now click on the 'Advanced' tab. This contains the setting you need to change. The last option in this box is marked 'Delivery'. Tick the box marked 'Leave a copy of messages on server'.
Your messages will now be available in webmail as well as Outlook Express for as long as you want them there, even if you download at any time. Repeat the process but un-check the box if you no longer want messages to be saved on the server.
