Jennifer Aniston, best known as Rachel in Friends and for her high-profile marriage and divorce with Hollywood actor Brad Pitt, just got engaged again.
The star has been dating actor and screenwriter boyfriend Justin Theroux for more than a year now. They both starred in the comedy “Wanderlust” released earlier this year.
Just last Friday, they decided to take things to the next level when Justin proposed to Jennifer on his birthday and she said yes.
According to Theroux’s representative, Justin ‘had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend Jennifer Aniston accepted his proposal of marriage.”
Aniston, through her own publicist Steven Huvane, also confirmed the news.
As of now, no wedding date has been set. It will be Aniston’s second marriage, following her union with Brad Pitt, which led to divorce after five years. As Brad and Angelina settled into their own family, Aniston’s colorful love life became one of the media’s favorite subjects. She was involved with actor Vince Vaughn and singer/guitarist John Mayer, before she met Theroux.
The engagement could not be timely enough as it comes just months after Brad and Angelina also announced their engagement. The two have not set a wedding date yet, but confirmed their engagement in April.
