More and more alleged Jimmy Savile’s victims are coming forward to talk about their ordeal with the TV presenter. One of them is Kevin Cook who claims that Savile sexually molested him in 1976 at his dressing room.
Being nine at the time of the incident, it is believed that Cook is the youngest known victim of the paedophile.
Cook told The Sun that while filming for the children’s TV show in 1976, Savile lured him to his dressing room promising him with a coveted Jim’ll Fix It badge.
Once inside the room, the alleged victim said that Savile pulled down his shorts and fondled him. He added that Savile also grabbed his hand and made him touch him.
Mr Cook, now 45 years old, was allegedly told by the TV presenter not to tell anyone and that nobody will believe him anyway.
The MET police spokesman told MailOnline: We are collating allegations from around the UK for assessment.
'We can confirm we believe offending to have taken place over six decades.
'There are 12 cases confirmed as crimes but we are not breaking this down.'
