The dating habits of mature British women are changing according to a new survey by online dating service Parship. In 2005, just 8% of females in their 40s and 50s (termed "cougars") said they would date a man five or more years their junior. In 2009 however, more than a third would consider a younger man.

Celebrities such as Demi Moore have been credited with the trend shift, an accolade she isn't overly happy with: "I'm certainly not the first person to be in a relationship with a younger man, but somehow I was plucked out as a bit of a poster girl," she told W magazine. ""I don't know why that is."

The Hollywood actress and 'Punk'd' star Ashton Kutcher tied the knot in a last-minute ceremony in Beverly Hills in 2005. Despite much speculation about their relationship, they have been together ever since. Which other women have opted for a younger model?
