Ralph Lauren - 'The Great Gatsby' (1974) and 'Annie Hall' (1977)
Lauren was contracted to create the costumes for 1974 iconic film 'The Great Gatsby', which sparked a Jazz Age fashion trend.
Similarly, Lauren's ability to create chic casuals was demonstrated in 'Annie Hall' in which Diane Keaton's wide-legged trouser suit created a resurgence of the 'Oxford bag', and tie-wearing women became synonymous with Keaton herself.
