Burn that burger
Ever felt really guilty after eating a big greasy beefburger? Well now you don't have to as there are many affordable ways to burn off the calories at home in your normal everyday life. There is no need to go to the gym each week to work it off.
An average size burger contains 490 calories and 23 grams of fat. To rid your body of those beefy calories you could do some of the following.
- Brush your teeth 100 times (brushing your teeth burns 10 calories)
- Take 15 showers (65 calories every wash)
- Stand in a queue all day (100 calories an hour are burnt off for just queuing)
- Have sex for four hours (120 calories every 30 minutes you spend between the sheets)
- Give your house a good clean (225 calories an hour just doing housework)
- Mow the lawn and your neighbours! (295 calories an hour)
- 75 minutes of packing boxes (i.e. for a house move)
- 90 minutes of drilling with a power drill
- 60 minutes of pushing a heavy wheelbarrow
- 80 minutes of handling uncooperative children
- 100 minutes of doing the washing. Taking it out, hanging to dry and then ironing.
- 70 minutes of non-stop hopscotch
